My Rogers Android Woes
I can admit that I’m a bit of a Google fanboy. I have an Android phone and it kills me that I don’t have the latest version of the OS installed on it. Until recently, I ran a custom ROM on the phone and I would manually keep it current with the latest build. But about a month ago Rogers forced me to revert back to their build and as a result I lost a bunch of functionality. But, what really grinds my gears is that because I’m now stuck on an old version of Android (1.5) I can’t use things like Google Goggles, Buzz, or anything new the Google mobile factory might churn out, but my friends with iPhone’s can. I have a Google phone that’s less than a year old (sure, it’s not the nexus one) but I can’t use new Google products on it. Every day I regret signing a 3 year contract with Rogers just a little bit more.

LOST again
So, LOST is back on TV. This makes me pretty happy. It’s the final season and I’m nervous that they aren’t going to be able to tie up all the loose ends. I guess we’ll find out in May.

Bringing back the blog
After a year or so of not posting any updates I think I’m going to try this blogging thing again. 2010 might just be the year of the blog.
